Renaissance. 3 storey and 4 storey semi-circular corner.
Ashlar channelled to 1st floor except narrow left bay.
Modern shops to ground floor except round headed doorpiece
with consoled cornice and balustraded canopy. Cill course
to 1st floor and 4 pedimented mullion and transom windows.
Pedimented sash over door and corniced transomed window
in left bay, 2nd floor bay central narrow and 4 wide round
headed windows flanked by paired or single engaged fluted Ionic
columns with outer piers. Corniced sash at left with strap
work decoration. Dentilled eaves cornice and die balustrade
continued on return elevation. Semi-circular corner has
mullioned and transomed bipartite to 1st floor and pilastered
tripartite to 2nd with "Liberal Club" carved over.
3rd floor has architraved square windows and wooden brackets
supporting conical slated roof. Return elevation to
Church Hill, inner blind and 2 outer bays. Cornice over blind
bay with dated cartouche to 2nd floor. Outer bays have
variety of corniced mullioned and transomed windows. To left
is 2-bay angled extension, single storey, with attic and
stack. 3 flat headed dormers. Slate roofs to all.
