Mid 19th century, later 19th century additions. 2-storey, 3-bay house with single storey wing and gig-house to rear.
HOUSE: cream sandstone rubble, squared and coursed to N elevation, rendered porch.
N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: 3 widely spaced bays; gabled and finialled later 19th century porch to centre with bargeboard and kingpost detail to apex, fanlit, 6-panelled door, narrow border-glazed windows on returns. Window to right and left. Symmetrically disposed windows at 1st floor.
E ELEVATION: bipartite window to centre at ground.
W ELEVATION: bipartite window to centre at ground, single window at 1st floor to right, window to outer right in 2-storey wing (later 19th century).
S (REAR) ELEVATION: 2-storey with gabled single bay wing projecting to left, window to centre at ground and 1st floor. Lower single storey wing projecting from centre joined to gig-house by low wall with doorway.
12-pane sash and case windows. Grey slate roof, ashlar coped skews, corniced sandstone stacks to gables, original display of cans.
GIG-HOUSE: cream sandstone rubble.
W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: 3 bays: gabled bay to centre with window and brick apex stack, window to left, segmental-gig-arch to right with 2-leaf boarded doors.
S (REAR) ELEVATION: advanced block to left, small window to left, cat-slige roof; 2 windows recessed to right.
12-pane sash and case windows, boarded shutters lower, fixed glazing upper to windows at rear. Black pantiled piended roof.
BOUNDARY WALL: rubble wall to Linlithgow-Edinburgh road, taller gateway with boarded door.
