Description

Charles Edward and Thomas Saunders Robertson, circa 1880. 2-storey, rectangular-plan, classically-detailed coach house/steading, converted to 2 residential units (1992). Snecked and random rubble, ashlar dressings, slate roof. Louvred and margined oculi, wallhead course, coped skews with gables formed as open pediments, corniced stack.

E ELEVATION: 3 gabled bays each with large boarded door openings; slightly recessed centre gable, large rectangular moulded panel with drop-keystoned segmental arch, round-headed window at attic with pilasters and moulded keystoned architrave, coped skew with kneelers and mannered pediment to gablehead; gables to left and right with enlarged entrances at ground floor, boarded hayloft doors, oculus above.

S ELEVATION: slightly advanced gable to left with large modern projecting window, oculus to roofspace; French doors and 2 windows to right, 4 windows to 1st floor.
