Description

Allan Cunningham mason. Built circa 1805. Corniced square gatepiers with urn finials raised on stepped blocks; channelled red ashlar. Curved low quadrant walls with wooden railings (inner walls built of channelled red ashlar, outer walls rubble-built with ashlar cope).

Statement of Special Interest

Allan Cunningham was also a poet of some significance.
