Description
Built 1804 with substantial modern alterations. 2-storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan house with rear wing forming L-plan. Render with painted ashlar marigns and dressings. Chamfred arrises; quoin strips.
S ELEVATION: narrow, corniced door at centre, panelled door, radiating fanlight. Flanking windows; windows symmetrically disposed at 1st floor, directly under eaves.
W ELEVATION: gable, 2 windows at ground, window to left at 1st floor, narrow window in gablhead; lower wing to left.
E ELEVATION: L-plan, door at ground off-centre ot left, windows at ground, 1st floor to outer left; window to outer right at 1st floor.
uPVC top hopper windows; modern tiles; rendered apex stacks with sandstone coping, octagonal cans.
INTERIOR: simple interior, some alteration.
OUTBUILIDNGS: U-plan outbuilding range; comprising 2 rectangular-plan gabled wings with lean-to link block. Rubble with harl-pointing; ashlar coping.
N ELEVATION: original entrance to court demolished, flanking gables. Gable to left with blocked window at ground, blind cruciform arrowslit in gablehead; single window at left of left retun. Gable to right with door at ground left, barred window at centre, blind arrowslit in gablehead; barred window to left of right return, 2 doors symmetrically disposed to right.
S ELEVATION: gables to outer left and right, wall at centre with opening to right of centre; window in gablehead of outer right gable.
COURTYARD: various openings, some enlarged. Grey slate roof, red sandstone ashlar skews.
BOTHY: rectangular-plan block immediately to N of outbuildings;
2 boarded doors, letterbox fanlight. Grey slate roof.
BOUNDARY WALL: portion of rubble boundary wall with semi-circular coping survives to W.
