Probably of differing 18th century dates with alterations.
Single storey row, originally of 2, 2-bay cottages with
recessed later building to S, currently (1989) absorbed
into 1 property with modern, harled gabled extension
projecting at rear. Pink sandstone rubble with stugged
later dressings. 2 doors to roadside frontage blocked as
windows, 2 outer windows; 2 doors in S extension.
4-pane glazing pattern to sash and case windows.
Pantiles. Ridge stack on former mutual gable of 2-bay
cottages. Distinctive early East Lothian skew form to
steeper pitch of earlier cottages.
